Horse Aid is an Australian for-purpose and not-for-profit registered charity that provides free equine-assisted healing programs for serving and ex-serving defence personnel and first responders who are suffering from mental health challenges due to service trauma from their work serving our nation and our community. Situated in the Southern Highlands, our horsemanship healing programs bring the healing power from animals, nature, group dynamics and learning a new skill together to rebuild confidence, trust and a sense of purpose. We save lives – heroes and ex-racehorses.
